People are always telling me my paintings remind them of Maynard Dixon and this painting was inspired by his work for sure. Sometimes I like to see how close I can come to using a color scheme or composition of his but make it my own.

Oooo - very nice! The cloud and the horses provide so much movement, yet the rock and the moon in the sky speak of slow moving or fixedness. I think your work is definitely your own style. You may incorporate ideas or what you admire in another's work, but when you paint, it is definitely "Marcia Molnar" and no one else!
