Absolutely breathe taking!!!!! The composition -- the contrasting colors – the scale – What a beautiful painting.

Hi Emm,
I am sure that this piece will dominate the room where it is hung. The size alone dictates that, but the subject matter demands it. I am amazed at how much depth and detail you achieve, even with what appears to be a limited palette! The towering giants against that beautiful blue of the sky - it is another masterpiece for you. Congratulations!

Beautiful painting. That ruddy rose glow against that saturated blue is gorgeous. Majestic and haunting feeling.

The painting makes me feel like I am sitting there soaking it all in. I too love the colours.

Wow Cheryl! I just changed my blog last night, you are really keeping up with every little thing.

I have not posted lately because of allergies, mainly, but also because I've started about four really big paintings. I usually start something and work on it until I'm finished, thought I'd try something different and now I feel like a hampster on a wheel! I just go from one painting to another, LOL, once these are done, I'm going back to one painting at a time!
